Ryan was diagnosed with esophageal cancer on October 22, 2019 and sadly his battle ended far too soon on October 30, 2020, a short 373 days after beginning his fight.
In an effort to shed a positive light to a difficult month, the RMS Foundation is again going to host the 32 mile tribute run with our Third Annual Run For Ryan.
Ryan was very active throughout his life, competing in several sprint triathlons. Throughout the month of October run, jog, walk, or crawl a total of 32 miles in tribute to the age Ryan was when he passed. The Run For Ryan honors Ryan’s athleticism, while raising funds to further the mission of the Ryan M. Schaller Foundation.
This year we are thrilled to offer online registration through Challenge Hound. This platform provides easy tracking of miles and participants, and offers entry fee payment of $32 via credit card. Challenge Hound automatically syncs activities with several run trackers and apps, including Garmin, Fitbit, Strava, Apple Health (iOS), and Health Connect (Android).
